I have had a Yamaha pacifica guitar for 15 years that I just play without an amp. Just a headphone amp or no amp.

OK
This amp is small and not very powerful. Works ok just w/o a mic because there is no built in preamp. Good for guitar if you don’t need to be too loud

BEHRINGER TRUE ANALOG AMP
The device is powerful enough to provide sound for an electronic drum set. The only concern I have on this is that it hums even when there is no cable or device attached to it.

Truely amazing what this amp can do!! Very versatile amp with CD In input, very low hum and the tone can be set to masculine or feminine.

Great as an amp or monitor
I plug into the instrument jack for direct guitar and plug into the cd input jack with my guitar rig to use as a monitor functioning speaker.
